Jeri Pleticha

I am a registered nurse, adult educator, and healthcare leader with nearly three decades of clinical experience dedicated to improving the quality of care for seniors and long-term care communities. Licensed since 1998, I specialize in CMS-ready continuing education and practical, survey-focused training for long-term care professionals. Through my work in healthcare education, I strive to empower nurses, caregivers, and facility leaders with clear, organized, and actionable instruction that strengthens both clinical practice and patient outcomes.

I currently provide continuing education through my independent healthcare education platform, Hearts RN CE, where I offer both in-person instruction in North Idaho and on-demand courses nationwide for clinical staff, executive directors, and long-term care professionals. I have also had the honor of presenting at the Alzheimer's Association Caregiver Conference, sharing practical insights and educational strategies for those supporting individuals with memory care needs.

In addition to my education work, I am the co-owner of Touching Hearts at Home, a nurse-owned home care agency dedicated to helping seniors and adults with disabilities live with dignity, independence, and joy in the comfort of their own homes. Together with my team, I focus on delivering compassionate, relationship-centered care while supporting families through the emotional and practical challenges of caregiving.

My professional journey has also included experience as a Financial Professional with HowMoneyWorks, where I developed a deeper understanding of long-term care planning, financial preparedness, and healthcare decision-making. This experience strengthened my passion for educating families about the importance of proactive planning for both financial and healthcare needs.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Western Governors University and my Associate Degree in Nursing from Shoreline Community College. Throughout my career, I have remained committed to compassionate leadership, lifelong learning, and improving the lives of the individuals and communities I serve.
