What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to strong mentorship, collaborative teamwork, and a commitment to making a meaningful impact. Working under Tony Barbagallo, VP of Marketing at Microtech, taught me the importance of building cohesive teams and nurturing professional growth, lessons I carry into every project. Equally, my experience with a breast cancer awareness nonprofit—where I helped raise over $10 million and led a volunteer-driven walk—reinforced the value of community, dedication, and long-term relationships in achieving significant outcomes.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Help young professionals identify their interests and strengths, learn the variety of marketing roles and how they differ by company size, listen, seek mentorship, and position themselves for roles where they can thrive.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
In both my personal and professional life, I value connection, compassion, and creating positive impact. I am passionate about initiatives that bring people together, such as our canine comfort program in Pleasanton, where I visit local schools and libraries with my Golden Retriever, Shasta, to support reading programs and stress-relief activities. These experiences are particularly meaningful when helping shy residents at Sunflower Hill, a facility for people with disabilities, during our doggy afternoon events. Professionally, I bring extensive experience in marketing and product management, most recently at Wind River, where I focused on building strategic partnerships with leading technology companies. One of my proudest achievements was developing a Center of Excellence partnership program from the ground up, which expanded to include six key collaborations with companies such as Motorola and Intel.
