About Jessica
I've dedicated my entire career to the security industry, which is truly my passion. I started 15 years ago in law enforcement, working in the Corrections Division in a county jail. That experience gave me tactical and practical skills, but more importantly, it built my emotional intelligence. I worked with people from all different walks of life, developed policies, and trained new officers. When I didn't see growth opportunities there, I made the move to corporate security, working in both the banking sector and manufacturing. In those roles, I continued working with policy development and safety and security training for employees, managed access control, and served as a liaison officer with local and federal law enforcement whenever we needed outside assistance. Most recently, I've transitioned into the tech industry with Meta, where I oversee security operations for data centers. Right now, I'm working on what's called a greenfield site, building a data center from the ground up. My role involves overseeing security functions like access control within certain spaces and perimeter security, working with the community, making sure we have appropriate guidelines set so that as they're building out the site, everything stays within compliance with company standards. I also oversee a Guard Force service for the sites. Throughout all of this, my focus has always been on ensuring the safety of assets, people, and reputations.
