Jessica Anguiano is a seasoned professional at the intersection of sports, media, and technology, currently serving as Senior Account Manager for Sports at Amagi. With over 14 years of experience, she specializes in helping broadcasters and leagues navigate digital transformation, blending editorial insight with business acumen to elevate fan engagement. Bilingual in English and Spanish and originally from Mexico, Jessica brings a global perspective and a deep passion for leveraging technology to reshape how fans experience sports. Before joining Amagi, Jessica held leadership roles at Cleeng and WSC Sports, where she managed strategic and enterprise accounts, driving SaaS sales and business development initiatives. Her background as a sports journalist includes covering major events such as Liga MX, PanAm Games, LPGA, PGA TOUR, Korn Ferry Tour, and the World Diving Series, giving her a unique understanding of both content creation and the business of sports. She earned her MBA in Sports from San Diego State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from ITESO Universidad Jesuita de Guadalajara. Jessica has been recognized as a Cynopsis Class of 2024 Women in Media MVP honoree and has volunteered extensively, including with Aztec Sports Properties, Under Armour, and various collegiate programs. Known for her dedication, loyalty, and collaborative leadership, she consistently fosters strong client relationships while championing innovation in sports media and digital engagement.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the guidance of my mentor Ragna, the support of my current boss Kiel Fox, and the opportunity to give back by mentoring Hispanic students at CUNY University.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The train doesn't only come once. Meaning, there are opportunities that will come at the wrong time, and waiting for the right moment is as important as the opportunity itself.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women entering the industry to embrace confidence and recognize the power of representation in paving the way for themselves and others.
