About Jessica
Jessica Chozet is an Enterprise Account Executive at Oracle, currently focused on the financial services industry sector. She sells cloud infrastructure to large financial service companies to meet demands for AI, scalability, and real-time data processing in banking and insurance applications. With 11 years in her field, she started in marketing at Chicago Title, where she moved into her first sales role. She then joined a solutions provider, selling end-to-end business process automation and application sales leveraging early AI/ML technologies for data entry automation and complex integrations. At Oracle, she progressed from the database team selling supporting infrastructure to the cloud data platform and now cloud infrastructure sales. Outside of work, she enjoys equestrian activities with horses, which her career has enabled her to pursue, and she participates in the Beagle Freedom Project and Oracle's local volunteering program in the Denver area.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
You are always going to underestimate what you can do. Go after what you believe you can do, not what people tell you you can do. Don't listen to the people that are sitting on the sidelines, go be involved, and go talk to the people that are actually in the arena that you want to be in. We tend to feel like we have to meet all of the minimum requirements and all of the desired requirements before going for the next big thing. My advice is to push beyond what people think about you and go with what you know about yourself. Having other strong women that you network with and encourage is hugely valuable.
