About Jessica
Jessica Conolly serves as Director of Business Development at a manufacturing company specializing in sales and marketing leadership. With three years of experience in high-end sales, she began her post-graduate career as an event sales manager at Marriott, where she handled operations, client relations, weddings, and large-scale accounts. She is a graduate of Coastal Carolina University, where she was an art studio major with double minors in marketing and art history, and she made history as the first student to graduate with an arts degree and pursue a Master's of Business Administration in the Wall College of Business. During her studies, she served as a graduate assistant, mentored students, and gained experience in arts administration through exhibitions, gallery work, and an apprenticeship at a music and arts festival in South Carolina. Conolly is recognized for combining her passions for the arts and business in luxury sales environments, and she aspires to become a professor teaching entrepreneurship and women in business. She attributes her success to her high school art teacher Miss Bender, her brother who exposed her to professional environments in New York, and mentors and counselors who encouraged her goals.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I would attribute my success to my teachers in high school, especially my art teacher Miss Bender, my brother who exposed me to successful environments in New York, and my mentors and counselors who spoke life into me and encouraged me to pursue my goals.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say to her that anything is possible. Believe in herself, focus on what's important, never lose those values because they will bring you through success and challenges. Stay focused, stay confident, and never abandon who you are inside.
