As a certified mediator, Jessica offers virtual mediation services serving Texas and beyond, focusing on family conflicts such as parent–teen issues, divorce-related matters, and inheritance or estate disputes as well as workplace and vendor disputes. Her primary goal is to preserve relationships and find practical, mutually acceptable solutions. She emphasizes clear expectations, boundary setting, and detailed agreements to prevent future conflict, advocating for early dispute resolution to minimize the stress, cost, and broader impact of high-conflict litigation.

Jessica brings a diverse professional background to her work, spanning six years as a master cosmetologist, human resources and corporate roles, and ten years in financial services. Her personal experiences including losing both parents without wills, navigating divorce, and parenting teenagers inform her specialization in family and inheritance disputes. This blend of professional expertise and lived experience allows her to guide clients with empathy, structure, and practical strategies for resolving conflicts and moving forward.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

Don't let fear or perfectionism stop you. Launch, learn from experience, and don't let imposter syndrome keep you from starting.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Challenge: Mediation is not yet the default in the U.S.; litigation systems and financial incentives favor adversarial paths.
Opportunity: Educating the public about mediation's relationship-preserving, cost-effective benefits and expanding virtual mediation services.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Hard work, service to community, preserving relationships, clarity with clients and integrity in knowing when mediation is or isn't the right fit.
