About Jessica
Jessica Fine is a claims handler at Berkeley Select, where she has worked for just over three years in the Chicago office while based in the Hartford, Connecticut area. She began her career in insurance in 2015 as a claims trainee at Chubb Insurance, progressing through operations rotations into claims handling. After nearly seven years at Chubb, she spent a year at Sedgwick, a third-party administrator, before being recruited to her current role. She holds a bachelor's degree in political science and a master's degree in public administration from institutions that emphasized critical thinking and self-advocacy, skills she credits alongside her parents' emphasis on hard work for her professional success. Jessica values honesty, transparency, diligence, customer service, and maintaining work-life balance, and she advises young professionals entering the industry to fully utilize mentorships, training programs, and hands-on experience.
