Her Story
About Jessica
Jessica Freeman has worked in education for over 30 years, both inside and outside the classroom. She currently serves as a post-secondary planning coordinator for a high school, working in the counseling department to provide resources for students' post-secondary paths, including college tours and career exploration trips that highlight options such as trade schools, the workforce, and the military. Freeman earned her GED after dropping out of high school, followed by several associate degrees from community college, a bachelor's degree from Drexel University, and a master's degree from St. Joe's, along with leadership certificates from Drexel University. She is the author of the nonfiction children's book Caleb: Big Brother, Little Brother, which was released on Amazon. In addition, Freeman is the program director for the Teen Shop youth organization, which has three chapters, and she has received numerous honors including community service awards, a community partnership plaque, a vision award, and a national organization award. She attributes her success to her faith and belief in God.

01What do you attribute your success to?
My faith and my belief in God. I have to give Him all the credit for everything. Sometimes when you're going through things, family and friends are not there, and that's just the way he wants it so that he can get the credit.
