Her Story

About Jessica

Jessica Gonzalez is a seasoned sales technology professional with more than 12 years of experience spanning credit card processing, logistics, and construction software industries. Currently serving as an Account Manager at Trimble Inc., she specializes in customer success, technology solutions, sales strategy, and building strong client partnerships. Jessica began her career at Visa as a customer service representative and advanced through roles in fraud prevention, team leadership, and operations. She later relocated to Austin, Texas, where she helped establish a new call center, gaining valuable experience in operational support, process improvement, and technology-driven solutions.

Jessica continued to expand her expertise by joining Turvo Inc., a logistics technology startup, as one of the company’s earliest employees. During her time there, she developed her skills in customer success, relationship management, and delivering solutions tailored to client needs. Following this experience, she joined e-Builder, now part of Trimble, as a Customer Success Manager, where she spent nearly six years supporting customers, managing complex projects, and driving adoption of technology solutions. Three years ago, Jessica transitioned into sales, taking on a new challenge without prior sales experience. Through determination, adaptability, and a commitment to learning, she quickly excelled, becoming a top performer on her team, earning President’s Club recognition, and closing her first major deal valued at more than half a million dollars.

Jessica holds an associate degree in science with a focus on criminal justice and earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management from Johnson & Wales University. She continues to pursue professional growth with the long-term goal of becoming a small business consultant. Jessica attributes her success to continuous learning and intentional self-improvement through reading, educational content, and learning from team experiences. Guided by values of dedication, loyalty, commitment, perseverance, confidence, and resilience, she brings a strong sense of purpose to her career and personal life as a mother, inspiring others through her growth mindset and determination to succeed.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Jessica

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my commitment to continuous learning and personal growth. Each day, I seek opportunities to improve by reading books, watching educational content, listening to colleagues’ sales calls, and gaining insights from the experiences of others. I believe that growth is an ongoing journey, and that consistently applying small lessons and improvements over time leads to meaningful, long-term success.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice she has received is to always remain authentic and never lose sight of who she is, regardless of the environment. While professionalism is essential, she believes authenticity is what truly sets people apart. She also emphasized the importance of strong leadership, explaining that great managers advocate for and protect their employees. She shared a personal experience where a manager believed in her potential, defended her during a difficult period, and ultimately helped her succeed—a lesson that shaped her understanding of effective leadership.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the technology industry is to approach every opportunity with confidence and self-belief. Walk into every room knowing your value, regardless of who is present. Be prepared, do your research, trust your knowledge and abilities, and never allow yourself to feel intimidated in environments where you may be underrepresented. Confidence, preparation, and the willingness to advocate for yourself are essential qualities for building credibility, earning respect, and achieving long-term success.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges and opportunities in my industry right now is the rapid pace of technological change, particularly the continued shift toward cloud-based solutions. While advancements in technology create significant opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and growth, adapting to constant change can be challenging for organizations and customers who are accustomed to traditional systems. Successfully navigating this transformation requires flexibility, continuous learning, and a willingness to embrace new approaches to meet evolving needs.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide both my professional and personal life are dedication, loyalty, commitment, perseverance, confidence, and resilience. These principles shape how I approach challenges, build relationships, and pursue my goals. As a mother, I also strive to instill these values in my daughter by reminding her each day that she is beautiful, brave, and smart. I encourage her to embrace every opportunity with confidence, while always leading with humility and kindness.
