About Jessica

Jessica Grassi serves as Downstream Marketing Manager at Cagent Vascular, a medical technology company headquartered in Wayne, Pennsylvania. In her role, she leads downstream marketing initiatives that support the commercialization of the company's innovative angioplasty platform featuring Serration Remodeling Therapy (SRT), a technology designed to improve blood flow by creating controlled serrations in arterial plaque, helping physicians achieve more durable vessel expansion and improve outcomes for patients with peripheral artery disease. Since joining the organization as Associate Marketing Manager, Grassi has quickly established herself as a strategic marketing leader, earning a promotion to Downstream Marketing Manager in February 2026. She oversees physician and key opinion leader engagement, conference strategy, content development, digital marketing, and sales enablement, working at the intersection of marketing, clinical affairs, and commercial operations to drive product adoption and business growth. Before entering the MedTech industry, Grassi built a diverse marketing career spanning e-commerce, nonprofit organizations, legal services, and home design, where she consistently delivered measurable growth through strategic branding, digital marketing, and customer engagement initiatives. An entrepreneur at heart, she co-founded a successful e-commerce business and later owned and operated her own online retail company, experiences that strengthened her expertise in brand development, business strategy, and customer experience. She has also demonstrated a longstanding commitment to community leadership, serving on the boards of several nonprofit organizations, including Young Professionals of Martin County in Florida, and Emergency Medical Assistance in Florida, dedicated to expanding access to reproductive healthcare. While advancing her career, Grassi completed her Master of Business Administration in Organizational Management with a concentration in Marketing from Eastern University, balancing graduate studies alongside a full-time career and raising her family before celebrating her commencement in May 2026. Grassi attributes much of her success to the inspiration she draws from her two young sons, whose presence motivates her to continually pursue ambitious goals while demonstrating that perseverance and determination can overcome even the most demanding challenges. She believes leadership is built through resilience, adaptability, and a willingness to embrace new opportunities, qualities that have defined her professional journey. Passionate about mentoring the next generation of women in business and healthcare, Grassi encourages young women entering the industry to advocate for themselves, resist the pressure to become people pleasers, and confidently claim their seat at the table. Through her strategic mindset, collaborative leadership style, and commitment to meaningful innovation, she continues to help advance medical technologies that improve patient outcomes while building brands that make a lasting impact.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Jessica

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my children, who inspire me every day to lead by example. They motivate me to demonstrate that not only women, but anyone can overcome challenges through perseverance, determination, and hard work. One of my proudest accomplishments was earning my MBA while balancing a full-time career and family responsibilities. Having my children watch me walk across the graduation stage was especially meaningful because it showed them that worthwhile achievements are rarely easy, but with commitment and resilience, even the most demanding goals can be accomplished. I hope that example encourages them to approach their own aspirations with confidence and the belief that they, too, are capable of doing hard things.

02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to never be afraid to say no and to trust your own judgment. Early in my career, I often accepted every opportunity because I believed that was the only way to prove myself. Over time, I realized that success isn't about saying yes to everything—it's about choosing the opportunities that align with your goals and values. I've learned to ask myself, "Does this serve me?" before making a commitment. We have earned our place at the table, and we shouldn't feel the need to overextend ourselves or constantly seek validation. Advocate for yourself, set healthy boundaries, and have the confidence to know that your voice and contributions matter.
