Jessica Grice is a marketing, communications, and community engagement professional with more than 15 years of experience helping organizations strengthen their brands through meaningful relationships, creative storytelling, and impactful events. Currently serving as Assistant Manager and Marketing Lead at the Auglaize County Fairgrounds in Wapakoneta, Ohio, she oversees marketing initiatives, sponsorship development, event coordination, and community partnerships while supporting the fairgrounds' overall operations. With a people-first philosophy rooted in faith, Jessica is passionate about highlighting the unsung heroes who make a lasting difference in their communities and creating experiences that bring people together.
Jessica's career has spanned marketing, business operations, leadership, manufacturing, training, and event management, giving her a well-rounded perspective that shapes her practical, results-driven approach. She earned both an Associate of Applied Business in Marketing and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing from the University of Northwestern Ohio. Known for her adaptability, she has mastered tools such as Canva and Adobe InDesign through hands-on experience, developed employee training programs, and consistently found innovative ways to bring marketing efforts in-house, helping nonprofit organizations reduce costs while increasing their community impact.
Beyond her professional responsibilities, Jessica is committed to serving others through volunteerism, mentorship, and education. She actively volunteers as a youth leader and worship team member at her church and frequently shares her marketing expertise with local organizations to help improve fundraising and event success. Her dedication to the profession has also led to involvement with the Ohio Fair Managers Association (OFMA), where she participates in industry events and is scheduled to teach a marketing class. Whether leading a major community event or supporting a local nonprofit, Jessica is driven by integrity, collaboration, and a genuine desire to leave every organization and community stronger than she found it.

I attribute my success to leading with purpose, faith, and a willingness to embrace every opportunity for growth. Throughout my career in marketing, management, event planning, and business, I've focused on using my skills to make a meaningful impact by uplifting others and highlighting the good in my community. Whether I'm leading projects, mentoring young women, serving in my church, or writing faith-inspired music, I strive to stay adaptable, rise to new challenges, and lead with compassion. I've found that the greatest success comes from serving others with integrity, resilience, and purpose.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to challenge yourself, stay adaptable, and embrace every opportunity to learn. Don't be afraid to step outside your comfort zone or take on new responsibilities. Growth comes from being willing to rise to the occasion, learn something new, and trust in your ability to succeed.
