Her Story
About Jessica
Jessica Hamilton is a preventive health coach and the Founder of Happier Healthy Holistics, based in Fleming Island, Florida. She brings nearly 11 years of experience in nursing and healthcare, including a decade dedicated to critical care. Her clinical career began in the intensive care unit at a Level I trauma center in Hollywood, Florida, before she transitioned into travel nursing, spending approximately eight to nine years working across healthcare systems throughout the country. These experiences gave her firsthand insight into the serious health challenges that can arise when prevention and early intervention are overlooked.
Motivated by repeatedly seeing preventable conditions such as diabetes, heart failure, and stroke, particularly during and following the COVID-19 pandemic, Hamilton established Happier Healthy Holistics to help people take a more proactive approach to their health. Through her work, she empowers clients to make sustainable lifestyle changes involving nutrition, exercise, stress management, and overall wellness. She also incorporates objective, data-informed wellness tools, including the Prysm iO device, to help individuals better understand their health and make more informed decisions. Her approach combines her clinical nursing background with a holistic perspective on preventive health and health education.
Hamilton earned her nursing degree from Nova Southeastern University and continues to expand her impact through community engagement and professional collaboration. She actively networks through the Clay County Chamber of Commerce, building relationships with local professionals and organizations that share her commitment to improving community health. Her mission is to help shift the focus of healthcare from responding to crises to empowering individuals with the knowledge, tools, and support they need to make prevention an integral part of everyday life.
