One of the biggest challenges I see in our field is breaking into technical roles from non-traditional backgrounds, while also balancing certifications, continuing education, and career progression. At the same time, there are tremendous opportunities—advancing certifications like ASQ Supplier Quality Engineer, pursuing ongoing education, and growing within engineering careers. I also see a meaningful opportunity to mentor others and help increase the representation of women in manufacturing and quality roles.
