Jessica Kerr
Jessica Kerr is a Logistics Sales Account Executive at Vista Trans Holding whose career was built from the ground up, literally. She began on a hot loading dock, operating a forklift and learning the logistics industry one acronym, one mistake, and one late night at a time. What started as a search for stability for her children evolved into a passion for supply chain optimization and building meaningful, long-term partnerships. Today, Jessica helps businesses streamline their supply chains through customized transportation solutions that reduce costs, improve efficiency, and ensure reliable delivery. Her comprehensive background in freight coordination, OS&D analysis, customer service, and account management gives her a full-spectrum understanding of logistics operations from dock to desk. Known for her authenticity, integrity, and resilience, Jessica leads with honest communication and an unwavering commitment to her clients’ success. She believes in showing up, staying curious, and pushing forward, because progress comes from perseverance. Jessica is driven by the belief that logistics isn’t just about moving freight, it’s about moving businesses and people forward.

Because good things come when you don’t quit.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would encourage young women entering logistics and sales to choose growth over comfort, stay persistent even when the market is tough, and focus on building real relationships—not just transactions. Trust yourself and your ability to succeed in male-dominated spaces, because perseverance truly makes the difference.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest challenges in logistics right now is fluctuating rates, tight margins, market volatility, and ongoing driver shortages. At the same time, there’s a major opportunity to leverage technology and AI for efficiency while preserving the human element in customer service, which remains essential for building trust and long-term relationships.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me are integrity, accountability, flexibility, and resilience, and I believe consistency and reliability are the foundation of long-term success in both work and life. I place a high priority on showing up for my clients and my family, while making time to enjoy life with my two daughters and our outdoor adventures together.
