About Jessica
Jessica Klersy, Esq. serves as Managing Partner and Founding Partner of Klersy Law, P.C., a legal practice based in Riverhead, New York, where she focuses on advocating for individuals and families through some of life’s most complex legal challenges. With a practice dedicated to Elder Law, Estate Planning, Medicaid planning, Guardianships, Special Needs Planning, and disability advocacy, Jessica provides compassionate and strategic legal guidance designed to protect her clients’ rights, assets, and futures. She is deeply committed to ensuring that seniors, individuals with disabilities, and families receive the support and representation they deserve.
Jessica earned her Juris Doctorate from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2017, where she built a strong foundation in elder law and public service. Through the Pro Bono Scholars Program, she successfully completed the New York State Bar Examination during her final semester of law school and was admitted to practice shortly after graduation. During her legal education, Jessica gained valuable experience through Touro’s Elder Law Clinic, the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, and Nassau Suffolk Law Services, assisting vulnerable individuals and advocating for those in need. Her dedication and accomplishments earned her several honors, including the Academic Achievement Scholarship and the Honorable Joel K. Asarch Elder Law and Special Needs Section Scholarship.
Throughout her career, Jessica has been recognized for her leadership, advocacy, and contributions to the legal profession. She maintains memberships with the New York State Bar Association, Suffolk County Bar Association, Phi Alpha Delta Fraternity, and Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Member. Her professional achievements include being recognized as Attorney of the Year by Top 100 Attorneys and receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award. Beyond her legal practice, Jessica is an author developing publications focused on helping families navigate special needs planning, probate, and guardianship matters. She has also been featured in The National Digest for her dedication to advocacy and creating meaningful change within the elder law and disability communities.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Jessica enjoys traveling, reading, spending time outdoors, and following the sport of cricket. These interests reflect her appreciation for continuous learning, exploring new perspectives, and maintaining a well-rounded approach to both her personal and professional life.

01What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to being self-motivated, determined, and goal-driven in everything I pursue. I believe that attention to detail, a commitment to continuous learning, and the willingness to embrace new challenges have been essential to my professional growth. I strive to lead by example, approach every opportunity with dedication and purpose, and remain focused on making a meaningful difference in the lives of those I serve.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I have ever received is to bring positivity to my team, because the energy and attitude I contribute can have a meaningful impact on those around me. I have learned that fostering a supportive and encouraging environment helps build stronger relationships and promotes collaboration. I also believe it is important to use my voice, share my perspectives, and recognize that my ideas and opinions matter. Being confident in my contributions while uplifting others has been a valuable part of my professional journey.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the industry is to lead with kindness, respect, and a willingness to embrace new opportunities. Be open to trying new things, stepping outside of your comfort zone, and continuously learning from every experience. Strive to be effective and make a positive impact wherever you go by bringing dedication, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset to every role you take on.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest opportunities in the field right now is expanding awareness and reaching more individuals who may benefit from trusted legal guidance and support. Our focus is on connecting with more people to help them navigate important matters such as Elder Law, Medicaid planning and applications, guardianship, estate planning, and probate. By increasing outreach and education, we can ensure that individuals and families have access to the resources and assistance they need to make informed decisions and protect their future.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are perseverance, self-advocacy, and the commitment to making a positive difference. I believe in staying true to what I believe in, continuing to move forward despite challenges, and never allowing obstacles to stand in the way of pursuing my goals and dreams. Each day is an opportunity to create an impact, support others, and contribute meaningful value through dedication and determination.
