Her Interview

Ten minutes with Jessica

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to persistence, continuous growth, and the willingness to adapt. Throughout my career, I have consistently challenged myself to develop new skills, including making a pivot into marketing. I’ve also been fortunate to have the support of colleagues, mentors, and professional networks who have encouraged and guided me along the way. My determination to pursue my education while raising my children as a single parent has shaped my resilience and commitment to achieving my goals.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

I encourage young women to surround themselves with supportive people who believe in their potential. Seek out mentors, build meaningful connections, and invest in continuously developing your skills. Believe that you have the power to make an impact, and approach every opportunity as a chance to learn, contribute, and grow.

03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest shifts in my field has been the evolution of email deliverability, which presents both challenges and opportunities. I’m focused on how we can use AI to transform deliverability by automating and streamlining manual processes, such as IP warming, that have traditionally required significant time and resources. At the same time, marketing teams continue to face the challenge of demonstrating measurable ROI and optimizing lead generation throughout the entire customer journey.

04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide me are empowerment, encouragement, honesty, and leading by example. I believe in creating supportive environments where people feel valued, inspired, and capable of reaching their full potential. Building strong relationships and helping others grow are central to both my personal and professional life.
