Jessica Lanuto is a Senior Acquisition and Global Supply Chain Leader with over 25 years of experience across defense operations, procurement strategy, and organizational transformation. A former U.S. Army Master Sergeant, she led global acquisition missions before transitioning into defense contracting, where she has built high-performance, compliant procurement organizations supporting complex federal programs.
In her current leadership role, Jessica focuses on acquisition strategy, global supply chain management, subcontracts, and developing high-performing teams-driving solutions that balance compliance efficiency, and mission impact. Deeply committed to supporting the warfighter, she believes strong acquisition and logistics systems are essential to operational readiness and national security.

I attribute my success to resilience, faith, and an unwavering desire to build a life rooted in growth, stability, and purpose. Growing up with modest resources and in challenging environments taught me to see the possibility beyond circumstances and to believe in becoming more than what surrounded me. I have learned to trust my preparation, discipline, and values, pushing beyond doubt and choosing growth over fear.
Driven by self-belief, hard work, and continuous healing, I learned to create my own path - guided by compassion, and a commitment to lifting others along the way. The lessons of perseverance, forgiveness, and personal growth continues to shape both my leadership and my life.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I ever received is to remember that not everyone is in your corner. It taught me to take ownership of my growth, make strategic decisions with intention, and surround myself with mentors and allies who genuinely support my success. This perspective has helped me navigate challenges with resilience, stay focused on my goals, and build meaningful relationships rooted in trust and respect.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Master your craft and never stop learning. Seek mentors who support your development, advocate for yourself, and take ownership of your growth throughout your career.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The industry continues to grow in complexity and competition, but this also creates powerful opportunities for leaders who bring expertise, adaptability, and strategic thinking to the table.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity, growth, faith, and balance are central to both my professional and personal life. I believe in leading with honesty, accountability, and compassion while remaining curious and committed to continuous improvement.
