Jessica McCree Braddy is an accomplished healthcare leader and entrepreneur, serving as the CEO of Magnolia Southern Care LLC in Jacksonville, Florida. With a career spanning over 15 years, Jessica began as a CNA and Medical Assistant, gradually advancing her expertise in patient care and healthcare administration. In 2020, she launched her own home care agency, providing compassionate, high-quality in-home care services for the elderly and others in need. Her commitment to excellence has made Magnolia Southern Care a trusted name in the community.
Beyond managing daily operations, Jessica is deeply invested in enhancing client experiences and improving quality of life. She implements innovative home care programs and oversees all aspects of her agency to ensure exceptional service delivery. Known for her leadership, dedication, and hands-on approach, she has built a team that reflects her values of compassion, integrity, and professionalism. Jessica is also actively involved in volunteer work, supporting causes such as clean water, community improvement, elderly care, and public health initiatives.
Jessica is currently pursuing her Master’s in Public Administration while holding a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from South University. Her lifelong commitment to learning and personal growth complements her practical experience, enabling her to expand her impact in healthcare. What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a deep passion for helping others and an unwavering faith that has guided me throughout my journey. I started in healthcare 15 years ago as a CNA, later became a Medical Assistant, and in 2020 I took a leap of faith and opened my own home care agency. I’ve never believed in standing still—I'm currently pursuing my Master’s in Public Administration while building a nonprofit dedicated to providing safe food options and hydration for my clients. What drives me most is seeing the progress of the people I serve. That impact is my greatest reward. I also want to be an example for other women in the industry—and for my children—that with passion and perseverance, a meaningful and successful career is possible. With plans to expand my business into Georgia, I know my journey is just getting started.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are compassion, dedication, and integrity. I strive to bring these qualities to every interaction, whether I’m supporting my clients, leading my team, or pursuing personal goals. Outside of work, I prioritize balance and wellness through hobbies I love—spending time outdoors fishing, biking, hiking, swimming, and playing tennis keeps me energized, focused, and inspired.
