Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a deep passion for helping others and an unwavering faith that has guided me throughout my journey. I started in healthcare 15 years ago as a CNA, later became a Medical Assistant, and in 2020 I took a leap of faith and opened my own home care agency. I’ve never believed in standing still—I'm currently pursuing my Master’s in Public Administration while building a nonprofit dedicated to providing safe food options and hydration for my clients.

What drives me most is seeing the progress of the people I serve. That impact is my greatest reward. I also want to be an example for other women in the industry—and for my children—that with passion and perseverance, a meaningful and successful career is possible. With plans to expand my business into Georgia, I know my journey is just getting started.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I’ve received is to never stand still in your career. Growth comes from continuous faith, learning, embracing challenges, and staying open to new opportunities. This mindset has guided me from my early days as a CNA to becoming a CEO and pursuing advanced education.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I encourage young women to lead with passion, perseverance, and integrity. Healthcare and any path that is taken, can be demanding, but it is also deeply rewarding. Don’t be afraid to take bold steps, invest in your education, and surround yourself with mentors who inspire and challenge you. Most importantly, believe in God, yourself—you have the power to create impact and open doors for others.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge in healthcare is balancing growing demand with maintaining high-quality, personalized care. However, this challenge also presents tremendous opportunity. With an aging population and shifting healthcare needs, innovative home care models are in greater demand than ever. By integrating technology, expanding services, and focusing on holistic wellness, we can meet these needs while empowering clients to thrive in their daily life and health.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me, both personally and professionally, are compassion, dedication, and integrity. I strive to embody these qualities in every interaction—whether supporting my clients, leading my team, or pursuing personal goals. Outside of work, I prioritize balance and wellness, spending time with my family and church community. I also enjoy outdoor activities such as fishing, biking, hiking, swimming, and playing tennis, which keep me energized, focused, and inspired.
