About Jessica
Jessica Melillo is a business development professional with 16 years of experience in the personal care industry. She currently serves as Director of Business Development, where she leads efforts to develop the East Coast market for her company, including customer engagement, team building, and identifying new manufacturing partners. Previously, she spent four years at her former employer, progressing from sales representative to sales manager and then general manager, overseeing operations and global accounts. Her earlier career includes management roles at Victoria's Secret, where she helped launch parts of the beauty division, as well as positions at Ulta Beauty and five years at Macy's in beauty and personal care. Jessica is actively involved in the industry as a board member of the Scientific Cosmetic Committee, serving as program chair for the Long Island chapter.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Never get too comfortable in a role. The most uncomfortable position you put yourself in will be the most rewarding. Always believe in yourself and fight for yourself. Live a little bit fearless because it's a big world out there.
