Her Story
About Jessica
Jessica Moll is a freelance writer, editor, and executive assistant who entered the field in 2024. In her current role, she formats, proofreads, and edits manuscripts for an up-and-coming author, learning extensively from the experience. She has also written for a true crime blog following her college graduation. Jessica earned her degree in English, concentrating on literary and film analysis, from Stony Brook University, where she studied for three years, excelled academically, and graduated with honors in 2024. Prior to that, she attended the Fashion Institute of Technology for one year while exploring her options. During high school, she was a member of the National Honor Society and served as secretary of the English Honor Society. Her passion for writing stems from a lifelong love of books and storytelling, which she developed further through her studies and volunteer work teaching reading skills to ESL students via the Reading is Fun club at her college. She draws inspiration from her father's involvement with Literacy Suffolk on Long Island.
