Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to the passion and love I have for the field of human resources. From the moment I graduated and entered the industry, I fell in love with the work. I truly enjoy helping people find new career opportunities and opening doors for them, inspiring and supporting them in any way I can. I began my career in recruiting and gradually expanded my expertise within the field. For the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of working in the nonprofit sector, and I couldn’t be happier contributing to a mission-driven organization while making a meaningful impact on the people I serve.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is that you can achieve anything, regardless of your age. Always believe in yourself, stay positive, and never give up. Let your confidence and determination be visible in everything you do.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is simple: you can, and you will! This field is incredibly rewarding, and I strongly encourage aspiring professionals to pursue it with confidence and determination.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

One of the biggest challenges in my field right now is maintaining a positive and upbeat attitude, especially when being younger than many of my colleagues and balancing the responsibilities of being a mother of three. At the same time, these challenges present opportunities to demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and leadership in both my professional and personal life.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are being present for others and maintaining a positive, uplifting attitude. I take pride in supporting my colleagues and fostering a collaborative environment. I was honored to receive the 2022 Heroic Award for Optimization and Excellence at Baker Ripley, an achievement I attribute not only to my dedication at work but also to the inspiration I draw from my family. My three children motivate me to strive for success and lead by example. At the same time, I make sure to carve out time for myself—whether performing with aerial silks, staying active at the gym, or playing video games with my children—to maintain balance and well-being.
