Her Story

About Jessica

Dr. Jessica Quintana, PhD, MPA, Founder & Ordained Minister Officiant of The Vow Experience, is a healthcare operations executive, entrepreneur, and ceremony designer based just outside of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with more than 20 years of experience leading large-scale healthcare systems and driving operational transformation. Throughout her career, she has specialized in optimizing payer and provider operations, scaling complex networks, and improving performance across organizations serving millions of covered lives. Her leadership is grounded in strategic execution, measurable results, and a strong commitment to improving both organizational efficiency and human-centered outcomes. She began her professional journey in the wedding industry as a destination wedding coordinator for Sandals & Beaches Resorts, where she spent five years designing and managing luxury wedding experiences. In this role, she developed a strong foundation in personalized service, attention to detail, and creating meaningful, high-touch celebrations tailored to each couple’s vision. She later transitioned into healthcare, where she built a 20-year career in executive leadership, focusing on operations, payer strategy, compliance, and large-scale system performance improvement across complex healthcare environments. In 2026, she became an ordained minister, guided by a personal calling to incorporate Christian principles and faith-based elements into wedding ceremonies. Today, she integrates her diverse background in healthcare, hospitality, and ministry through The Vow Experience, where she creates deeply personalized, authentic ceremonies rooted in each couple’s unique relationship. Her work is centered on storytelling, intentionality, and moving beyond cookie-cutter approaches to deliver meaningful, memorable experiences that reflect love, values, and connection.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Jessica

01What do you attribute your success to?

I attributed my success to not staying in one lane. I think that you can learn key transferable business skills in every field that you go into. I started my planning weddings and migrated over to building a career in Healthcare . I've worked my way into leadership, and I've been able to learn things from every area that I've worked in that I could transition or transcend into the next role which now has become entrepreneurship. So I would say don't limit yourself and don't stay in one lane.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is that my reputation is my greatest asset. I focus on being consistent in my work, acting with integrity, and delivering results every time. Over the course of my career, I’ve learned that my reputation has opened more doors for me than my education or professional affiliations ever could.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would advise young women entering my industry not to wait until they feel completely ready, because growth often comes from taking a leap of faith. I’ve learned that it is important to build your reputation before you build a brand, and to stay grounded and humble throughout your journey. Never underestimate the value of kindness, professionalism, and consistently keeping your word, as these qualities will set you apart and carry you further than confidence alone.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

In my field, the biggest challenges and opportunities right now center on staying current with rapidly evolving trends while continuously elevating creativity and innovation, particularly in the wedding industry where couples are increasingly informed and savvy due to technology. At the same time, there is a growing opportunity to thoughtfully embrace technology, especially in healthcare entrepreneurship, to improve efficiency and access; however, it is equally important to ensure that it never replaces the human experience at the core of the work. Balancing innovation with authenticity and personalization is what ultimately defines long-term success in both areas.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are integrity, transparency, and continuous learning. I believe it is essential to remain open and committed to growth, never limiting myself in what I can learn or improve. I measure success not only by achievement, but by the impact I make and whether my work is truly meaningful to others.
