Jessica Ruiz

I'm a licensed clinical social worker and relationship coach based in Florida. I've been a social worker since 2005, with over 21 years of experience in the field. What I love about social work is doing different things - I have experience in nursing homes, adult daycare, definitely mental health, and home visits. I've lived in different places throughout my career, including New York, Ohio, and now Florida. I work with ages [AGE] and up. Currently, I work for Elite DNA as a social worker. About 4 years ago, I started doing relationship coaching, which is one-on-one coaching with individuals, specifically single women. My main interest is with single Latinas, helping them to have that confidence in themselves when they're wanting to find true love. We talk about how they were with relationships in the past, and I help them to also love themselves, self-love. I started this through my own experiences - I'm married now, but at one point when I was single, I did the dating apps, trying to find the right one, so I know what it is, or what it was to be single. That's why I'm passionate about this work. Looking ahead, I'm definitely focused on growing my business. I'm working on writing my first book, which is a memoir about what I've been through when it came to being single, my faith (I'm Catholic), dating apps, and finding myself and wanting to reach my goals before I found someone. Now it'll also talk about being married. I'm trying to do traditional publishing, so it just depends on when I could get a publisher. In 5 years, I hope to have published my book and maybe eventually have an in-person therapy practice, though right now I work virtually.
