What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to the 13 years I have spent in education, beginning with living my dream as a teacher a role I cherished because of my passion for educating youth. I taught for nine years, and after COVID, I discovered a new calling in education technology, where I can make a meaningful impact not only in the field of education but also in shaping the success of future leaders. This journey has been driven by my commitment to empowering students and creating lasting, positive change.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is that you have the power to make a significant difference in the lives of others. By supporting, guiding, and empowering people, you help set them up for their greatest success in the future, which is both rewarding and impactful for your own professional journey.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to believe in yourself and your abilities. You can be successful and achieve your dreams by staying focused, working hard, and trusting your instincts. Embrace opportunities, seek out mentors, and never underestimate the impact of persistence and confidence in shaping your career.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
One of the biggest opportunities in my field right now is stepping into a new role, which I began on January 12. I am ready and eager to make a meaningful difference, leveraging this fresh start to bring new ideas, energy, and impact to my work. This transition also presents the challenge of quickly learning and adapting to new systems, processes, and team dynamics, which I embrace as an opportunity for growth and professional development.

The values that are most important to me in both my professional and personal life center on making a meaningful impact and fostering strong connections. I am passionate about positively influencing the lives of students, supporting their growth and success, while also building and nurturing relationships with other professionals in the field. Additionally, I value organization and efficiency in managing and coordinating business operations, ensuring that processes run smoothly and effectively.
