Portland, TN 37148

Jessica Sircy is a dedicated Autism Advocate and Operations Manager with extensive experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Based in Tennessee, she currently oversees operations for Magnet ABA Therapy across Tennessee and Michigan, where she ensures families and staff are supported, streamlines processes, and builds sustainable programs. As both a professional and a parent of a child with autism, Jessica brings a unique combination of expertise and personal insight, allowing her to create environments where children, families, and staff thrive.

Throughout her career, Jessica has held leadership roles at ABS Kids and Community Childcare Services, managing large teams, reducing staff turnover, and improving operational efficiency. Her work emphasizes trauma-informed leadership, staff development, and compliance, always with a people-first approach. She recognizes that Behavior Technicians are the backbone of ABA care and prioritizes their growth, support, and recognition as essential to positive outcomes for children and families.

In addition to her operational leadership, Jessica is a skilled medical assistant and has experience in healthcare administration, patient services, and early childhood education. Outside of work, she balances her professional responsibilities with family life, finding value in moments that remind her why she chose this path: creating meaningful, lasting impact for children, families, and the staff who serve them. Her mission is clear—to build strong teams and sustainable systems where everyone feels seen, valued, and empowered.

Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to consistency, empathy, and being willing to do the hard work even when no one is watching. I didn’t take the traditional path, but I stayed curious, showed up every day, and learned from the people and experiences around me. I lead with heart, but I also hold myself accountable, and that combination has mattered more than anything.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

"Do the work with integrity when no one is watching, opportunities will find you.” That advice taught me to focus on impact over recognition. The right doors opened because of consistency, not self-promotion.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would tell young women entering this field to take every opportunity to learn and grow and never be afraid to ask for help. This career can be rewarding and profitable, but it requires full commitment, compassion, and a willingness to be all in. You don’t have to know everything to belong here. Be willing to learn, accept feedback, and advocate for yourself the same way you advocate for others.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenge in this field right now is staff retention, as the work can be mentally and physically demanding, especially for those specializing in behavior. A key opportunity is to regularly express praise and gratitude, ensuring the team feels valued and recognized for their hard work and dedication.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

In my work, Integrity, empathy, and accountability. I believe in doing the right thing even when it’s uncomfortable, leading with compassion, and owning both my wins and my mistakes. Those values guide how I show up at work, how I lead teams, and how I raise my family. In my personal life, family, faith, my son who is autistic, and photography, all of which keep me grounded, present, and deeply connected to purpose.
