Jessica Sylvester founded Sylvester Tech nearly 15 years ago, building a career in information technology focused on custom computer construction. She creates high-end systems tailored for 4K gaming, heavy video editing, and specialized themes, drawing on AMD and Intel certifications along with self-taught expertise in programming and hardware integration. In addition to her technical work maintaining firewalls, developing AI bots, and designing inventory systems for small businesses, Sylvester engages in content creation as a streamer. Her professional path stems from an early passion for assembling and troubleshooting devices, encouraged by family to launch her own venture after prior certifications in transmissions mechanics, electrical work, and plumbing. She also dedicates significant effort to nonprofit initiatives rescuing disabled animals, a cause she has supported for over 20 years.

01What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Don't let someone tell you no. Go for it. Because the only person who can actually tell you no is yourself when you're beaten and broken, and you feel like you can't go anymore. If you can't go anymore, try a different way, pivot. Try something else. Never stop looking for something else to do. Don't keep your hands idle, just keep going.
