About Jessica
Jessica Tate serves as a Level 2 workers' compensation insurance adjuster at Nationwide, a position she has held for about six years after entering the insurance field during the COVID pandemic. Prior to Nationwide, she worked at The Hartford and advanced through three promotions within the company. She earned her bachelor's degree in criminal justice and subsequently obtained a master's degree in forensic science. Earlier in her career, Jessica worked in retail, including a notable achievement at Dillard's where she became the first person in the children's department to receive the Pacesetter Award after selling a significant volume of merchandise in her first year there.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Be patient, it's a lot to learn. Get your license and keep them up to date. Be organized, focused, and have a lot of patience.
