I've been with Path Resorts for 10 years now, and honestly, this was supposed to be just a pit stop. I used to work at a convenience store that my dad had owned, and then I relocated to the north part of our state in New Hampshire. I just needed something to kind of hold me over - it was supposed to be temporary. I started as a contact center representative for the company and just never left. I moved over to concierge, came down to sales, and then just kept riding the wave from there. What's been really great is that I got to learn more about the company and more about what we do, and how we get to elevate the consumer from start to finish. My biggest responsibility is making the company revenue, obviously, but I spend a majority of my day on the timeshare sales floor. My other big step into my role is that I do a lot of one-on-one training with my management staff to better their management strengths as well. Just about every single day when I'm done my day with the timeshare sales team, I spend time with at least one of my managers to work on developing one of their strengths or weaknesses, and we keep developing from there. I like to describe a typical day in this industry as chaos - it never looks the same, and I love it. I get to talk to people all day, which is my strong point.
