Jessica Trefry is an accomplished educator, coach, and leadership trainer with over two decades of experience in mathematics education and youth development. She recently retired from teaching middle school and high school math and robotics, where she guided students in mastering STEM subjects while fostering critical thinking and teamwork. Passionate about personal and professional growth, Jessica has transitioned into coaching and consulting, bringing her expertise in mindset, leadership, and team dynamics to organizations and athletic programs.

Jessica just retired from teaching middle school and high school math and robotics and launched her consulting business, Beacon Empowerment, in December 2025. As a Certified Public Speaker specializing in mindset, leadership, and teamwork, she empowers teams and organizations through workshops and keynote presentations to build positive culture, strong communication, and collaborative success.

Jessica holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Eastern Michigan University, a Teaching Certification in Secondary Education from Spring Arbor University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Michigan State University. Fluent in English, she values honesty, integrity, a strong work ethic, and kindness, which guide her professional and personal endeavors. Outside of her work, she enjoys hiking, paddle boarding, and exploring the outdoors, combining her love for nature with her dedication to inspiring others.

I attribute my success to dedication, perseverance, and a lifelong passion for education and leadership. Over the years, I’ve honed my skills in coaching, teaching, and mentorship, always striving to help students and teams reach their full potential.

I encourage young women to identify their unique strengths, embrace opportunities for leadership, and pursue professional development in both education and team-building. Developing confidence in your skills while staying adaptable is key.
