Jessica D. Uribe is an accomplished Proposal Director with over a decade of experience supporting the federal sector. Since beginning her career in 2012, she has led and managed proposal teams ranging from five to thirty professionals, developing compliant and compelling proposals valued between $1 million and $6 billion. Her work has supported a range of high-profile federal clients, including the Department of Defense, DISA, the U.S. Navy, Air Force, Army, HHS, VA, CMS, CDC, NIH, and FDA. Jessica is recognized for her deep expertise in Salesforce, SharePoint, and the Microsoft Office Suite, as well as her ability to guide complex proposal processes with precision and professionalism.

Currently serving as Senior Director of Proposal Operations at Tria Federal (Tria), Jessica plays a key leadership role in driving strategic growth through effective proposal management, collaboration, and innovation. Prior to her role at Tria, she held leadership positions at Diné Development Corporation, Octo (formerly B3 Group), and Perspecta, where she honed her skills in managing full-cycle proposal development, crafting persuasive win themes, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve exceptional results. One of her biggest professional achievements has been advancing to the role of Director of Proposals, a milestone that reflects her dedication, leadership, and expertise in the field.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Jessica is passionate about giving back to her community and consistently donates to Carry to Full Term, a nonprofit supporting mothers and families in need. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, working out, and spending time with her four children, finding balance and inspiration through both her family and her personal pursuits.

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to consistently showing up with dedication and giving 110% in everything I do. I believe that perseverance, commitment, and a strong work ethic are what truly drive results and set the foundation for lasting achievement.

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to never give up and to keep believing in myself. No matter how challenging things get, maintaining confidence and perseverance has always helped me push through and achieve my goals.

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to keep going and keep trying, no matter the obstacles. The journey may not always be easy, but every challenge you overcome will be worth it in the end. Stay determined, stay passionate, and trust that your hard work will pay off.

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The most important values to me, both professionally and personally, are understanding and giving people grace. I believe in approaching every situation with empathy, patience, and an open mind. Everyone faces challenges, and offering grace not only fosters stronger relationships but also creates an environment where people feel valued, supported, and motivated to grow.
