Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my family, my son and my husband, my children. I just want to be the role models that they all look up to and the person they can depend on. I also wanted to be successful to make my mom proud. She was always my role model. She has MS, and she has shown me that perseverance and determination will take you far in life, and I'm glad to be able to make her proud of me.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I've ever received is get comfortable being uncomfortable. That has taken me very far in my career, and I'm super appreciative of my first manager that shared that with me.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering my industry is to never give up. It can be challenging, but persistence is essential. Even during difficult times, I continue to push forward because I know there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Staying committed and striving consistently toward your goals will ultimately lead to progress and success.

Q

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

The biggest challenges I face in my field involve ensuring I connect with the right stakeholders and decision-makers, as it can be difficult to navigate the path to those with the authority to approve and move initiatives forward. At the same time, I also have to manage the constant influx of information across multiple platforms, which makes it challenging to cut through the noise and stay focused. Staying relevant and ahead in such a fast-moving environment requires continuous effort, adaptability, and a strategic approach to filtering what truly matters.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are dependability, trust, and reliability. I strive to be someone others can count on, follow through on commitments, and build strong relationships grounded in integrity and consistency.
