Her Interview
Ten minutes with Jessica
01What do you attribute your success to?
I really care about the people that I work with. And I've had good mentors.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would say to focus on what your natural strengths are, and let that guide your career decisions.
03What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
The biggest challenge is that I still feel like it is not fully... I guess I don't feel like we're compensated as well as we should be, given our level of education. And it's emotionally demanding work.
04What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
For my work life... social justice, honesty, and then family and friends for my personal life.
