Her Interview

Ten minutes with Jessica

01What do you attribute your success to?

Putting God first is the main important thing. If it wasn't for Him, I wouldn't be where I am now. Taking risks has worked out for me, like going back to school continuously.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Try to take risks. It's okay to do that. I've always felt skeptical on it, but I've taken a lot of risks, you know, going back to school. Continuous, and everything seems to work out.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

In the field I'm in, there's a lot of men in it, so don't be afraid. We're out here, too, trying to help each other out.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Challenges include trying to stay up to date with everything because it's constantly updating with new information and AI. But there's opportunity to pivot into something else like coding, AI, or automation since it goes hand in hand and you can jump into it with the knowledge.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Staying true to yourself. Don't change for anyone. That's something I really take seriously.
