Her Story

About Jessie

Jessie Gill is a seasoned senior executive and strategic operations leader with 16 years of experience serving in Chief of Staff roles across complex, high-growth organizations. She currently serves as Senior Vice President and Chief of Staff at Wheels, LLC, a leading fleet management company, where she partners directly with the CEO to drive enterprise-wide strategy, long-range planning, and transformation initiatives. In this capacity, she leads the organization’s strategic planning process, ensures alignment across business units, and provides executive oversight that translates vision into measurable, cross-functional outcomes. In her day-to-day leadership, Jessie oversees the execution of key strategic initiatives while maintaining enterprise accountability across priorities. Her responsibilities include executive decision support, governance coordination, and high-level operational execution. She routinely prepares in-depth CEO briefings covering client, market, and geopolitical context, and participates in executive forums where she may represent leadership in decision-making discussions. Her work reflects a Chief of Staff model aligned with senior executive operations, serving as a central connector between strategy, leadership priorities, and organizational performance. Jessie began her career in executive leadership in 2010 at an energy efficiency SaaS company, where she was first introduced to the Chief of Staff function and mentored into the strategic discipline that would define her career. She has since held leadership roles across industries including fleet management, Am Law 100 legal services, and global consumer brands such as Dunkin’ Brands and Arby’s Restaurant Group. Across these environments, she has built a reputation for operational rigor, discretion, and strategic clarity. She is also the founder of JKG Elite Consulting, where she provides fractional executive advisory services to CEOs and organizations navigating growth and transformation, drawing on a career-long commitment to executive partnership and organizational effectiveness. Beyond her professional work, Jessie enjoys international travel, spending time with family, and music. She frequently travels with her mother and plans several major trips each year, including recent visits to Thailand and Amsterdam. She is also a musician, playing saxophone and keyboard in support of her fiancé’s music career, reflecting a creative balance alongside her executive leadership responsibilities.

Her Interview

Ten minutes with Jessie

01What do you attribute your success to?

I would say my family, my mom. My dad was born and raised in Africa, and my mom came from India to actually Canada, which is originally where I'm from. I watched my mom, someone who graduated school as a chemist, work at a chocolate factory for $2 an hour, but she was so focused on making sure that her family was okay. We were well provided for while taken care of. Her work ethic, that all translated to me. I'm originally from Toronto, and seeing how my parents worked so hard to provide for us really shaped who I am today. That dedication and focus they showed me has been the foundation of everything I've accomplished in my career.

02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Jessie shared that a mentor early in her career introduced her to the Chief of Staff profession approximately 16 years ago, helping shape the direction of her career path and opening opportunities across multiple industries.

03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

I would probably offer, don't take things personal. Thick skin is super important in this type of role. Demand respect when you walk into a room, mainly because I've worked in male-dominated industries. And I would say stay the course. Stay focused, and stay the course. I started this at a really young age, like in my twenties, so I learned early on that you have to be resilient and confident in these environments.

04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Jessie believes one of the biggest challenges in executive leadership and operations is navigating highly demanding and male-dominated corporate environments while balancing strategic priorities and organizational culture. However, she also sees tremendous opportunities for women to continue advancing into executive leadership, operational strategy, and transformational leadership roles across industries.

05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

Jessie values leadership, resilience, discipline, respect, family, and continuous growth. She believes in maintaining strong professional standards while also prioritizing meaningful relationships and personal fulfillment.
