Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to a combination of dedication, perspective, and a commitment to amplifying the stories that often go unheard. Now in my 25th year of active service with the United States Marine Corps, I have also built a media platform to spotlight unsung heroes. Drawing on my dual experience, I focus on sharing the experiences of women in service across all branches.

Since 2013, I have worked as a finance professional and business consultant, and I know firsthand that financial empowerment is a critical foundation for success. Yet, what truly drives me is the moment an interviewee recognizes their own story reflected and honored—I find profound purpose in giving voice to experiences that deserve to be seen and celebrated.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is simple: go for it. There is someone out there who wants to hear your story. And above all, don’t compare yourself to others—comparison is the thief of joy.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The values that guide me in both my work and personal life are authenticity, service, and creativity. I am passionate about telling meaningful stories, whether through my work or through writing poems and short stories. As a mother, I also find joy in nurturing and creating—crafting meaningful projects that bring my family closer together and leave a lasting impact.
