Q

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my diverse background and willingness to grow. I started in accounting, transitioned into construction through an administrative role, and used my marketing education to support business growth. I’ve played a key role in helping Seco Restore expand from plumbing into other avenues by nurturing relationships, managing paperwork, and making sure every call is answered. I'm especially proud of the work I do in business development—it's where I thrive.

Q

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received came from my boss, Tom Pham, who has been a true inspiration in my journey. He emphasized the importance of consistency, resilience, and always showing up ready to learn and grow. His leadership and belief in my potential have played a major role in shaping my career path.

Q

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering the construction industry is simple: don’t be intimidated. It’s true that women are still the minority in this field, but that shouldn’t hold you back. Confidence, knowledge, and perseverance go a long way — and your voice, skills, and perspective are not only needed, they’re valuable.

Q

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?

The most important values to me in both work and personal life are integrity, communication, trust, and respect. As a mother of five, these values are especially important—I strive to lead by example and create strong, honest relationships whether at home or in my career. Balancing family and work, I’ve learned how essential these principles are for building lasting connections and achieving success.
