Jianing Debbie Li
Jianing Debbie Li is an Education Architect, System Strategist, and AI Integrator dedicated to advancing K–12 education in the United States through a global, systems-driven lens. Currently serving with the West Windsor–Plainsboro Regional School District, she designs and implements immersive learning environments and program strategies that empower students to thrive as culturally fluent, agile, and globally minded citizens. With a background in landscape architecture and urban planning, Li applies a systems mindset and human-centered design principles to align people, programs, and policy, creating scalable solutions that generate meaningful educational impact.
Li’s career is defined by multidisciplinary innovation and leadership. From designing immersive curriculum and AI-enhanced learning models to coaching educators and leading district-wide initiatives, she has consistently bridged theory and practice. Her work includes redefining K–6 curriculum with dual-language immersion (DLI) pedagogies, facilitating Title I–funded equity programs, and re-envisioning EdTech to support teachers and students. Recognized for her systems-level visioning and adaptive problem-solving, Li combines creativity, operational insight, and an equity-centered approach to strengthen educational ecosystems across North America.
A lifelong learner and scholar, Li holds a Master of Science in Learning Technology and Management Systems from Harrisburg University of Science and Technology and a Master of Education in Second Language Acquisition from Rutgers Graduate School of Education. She has also earned specialized certifications in AI for educators and instructional leadership. Fluent in Chinese and English, Li draws inspiration from global experiences, interdisciplinary collaboration, and her commitment to service—continuing a family legacy of contributing to the greater good. In all her work, she centers human interactions, unprogrammed creativity, and equity, striving to design learning systems that are meaningful, sustainable, and transformative.

What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to God, who motivates me to seek truth and understand my identity. My faith guides my decisions, shapes my perspective, and inspires me to pursue my purpose with clarity, integrity, and dedication.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering education is that knowledge is power and education can truly change your life. Always stay curious, continue learning, and never limit your potential. Embrace challenges as opportunities, remain persistent, and never give up on your goals or your vision for the impact you can make.
