What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to a lifelong passion for law—I’ve wanted to be a lawyer since first grade, and I’ve worked hard to turn that childhood dream into reality. My experiences as a public defender and later in corporate insurance law gave me the skills and perspective to excel in claims analysis, legal review, and staying current with evolving laws and regulations.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering the legal and insurance industry is simple: don’t expect the world and be prepared to work hard.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are kindness, compassion, and empathy—I strive to be a good person in all that I do. I take pride in my professional achievements, like securing a favorable trial verdict, and in my personal life, I enjoy traveling, Formula 1 racing, and spending time with my family and three dogs.
