Her Interview
Ten minutes with Jo-Ann
01What do you attribute your success to?
I think dedication, I think a real value connection. I really believe in what I do. I also have a lot of fun. I get nourished by the work that I do, so I think that's very supportive. It gives me energy to keep on going.
02What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
It's a calling. Therapists should be selected and not trained. If you want to help others you need to work on yourself because you can only help people as deep as you can go. Prioritize your own care and follow a pathway that opens up for you regarding skills and training.
03What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The possibility to expand beyond our limitations. Helping people to uncover their potential and find things out about themselves that are deeply buried treasures. Seeing people connect with their potential and unfold into new possibilities.
