Jo Obarowski

A seasoned creative director and designer with over two decades of experience in publishing, book design, and brand development. After serving for more than 20 years at Sterling Publishing—where she led large design teams and created the highly successful Barnes & Noble leather-bound classics program—she now works as the Principal Creative Director at Jokool Design, an independent New York studio specializing in book design, print, and branding. Her career also includes art direction roles at HarperCollins and freelance collaborations with major media and publishing clients, including HBO, Marvel, and Scholastic. She holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the School of Visual Arts and completed postgraduate studies with renowned designer Milton Glaser.
