About Joanna
Joanna Hall serves as Asset Scheduling Manager at The Firm Inc., CABCO's preferred installers for infilling mobile homes throughout the United States. Based in Troy, Alabama, she has been with the company for five years and in her current role for three years, managing asset management, invoicing, scheduling, and material purchasing across multiple projects. She previously worked as a community manager for two years and brings experience from medical assisting and customer service roles. A high school graduate, Joanna earned her medical assisting certification and license in 2012, becoming one of the first in her family to pursue education beyond high school and breaking generational barriers. She supports the Troy Resilience Program through regular donations. Joanna attributes her success to betting on herself and believing in herself after entering the field by happenstance, and she advises young women to do the same while learning as much as possible.

01What do you attribute your success to?
Betting on myself and believing in myself. I got the job by happenstance and was given the chance, and here we are 5 years later.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
Never push the wrong doings under the rug. Voice them and if nothing is done about it at least you know you've done your part.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Bet on yourself. Believe in yourself and just try to learn as much as you can. I got the job that I got by happenstance... You just have to bet on yourself.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Code requirements are different everywhere. Pennsylvania is really hard right now. Municipalities and code requirements are the hardest part.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Honesty. Don't let fear of repercussions keep you from telling the truth.
