Her Story
About Jodi
I'm the Regional Sales Manager for Optimum Water Solutions, the largest privately held point-of-use water cooler company in the United States. I got started when the CEO, Barry Snyder, who worked with me at a former organization, inquired about me joining the team when he went to start Optimum and helping him grow the business. We've gone from a small startup in 2014 to being an international company. When the business was founded, I didn't really have a concrete plan because I didn't know what the owner was going to do long-term, but it’s been a blessing. Both his children are working for the business now, and they're both around my age, so I'm confident that I won't ever have to leave the organization to find anything new to do. Optimum is special because we operate like a family, so I plan on being here and riding it out until I retire one day. What I do on a daily basis impacts future generations with all of our sustainability initiatives and making sure people have clean drinking water, which will actually make the world a better place.

Ten minutes with Jodi
01What do you attribute your success to?
God blessed me almost 39 years ago with having the world's best parents. It's only by God's grace that I was born to the parents I was born to, and my parents instilled a lot of their character and work ethic within myself. From a young child age, my parents have built confidence in me. I know everyone says you can be whatever you want to be, but my parents really made me believe that. They stood beside me, in front of me, behind me, wherever they needed to stand at moments in time to ensure that I'm able to reach whatever opportunity and success I want to. Seeing how much they believed in me made me who I am today. My dad was the most hands-on dad, and he never missed anything. My parents are still married 40-some-odd years later, and we just went to Spain last year together as their retirement gift to see our Menorcan heritage over in Menorca.
