Jodie Goodbrake, MIS, RCDD, DCDC
Jodie Goodbrake, MIS, RCDD, DCDC, is a seasoned Information and Communications Technology (ICT) professional with over a decade of experience in designing and consulting on complex infrastructure projects. Currently serving as a Senior ICT Consultant at AECOM, she specializes in structured cabling systems (SCS), wide area networks (WAN), passive optical networks (PON), and outside plant (OSP) infrastructure. Jodie leverages her extensive certifications, including RCDD and DCDC, to provide strategic guidance, ensuring projects are executed efficiently while meeting the highest industry standards. Her expertise allows her to translate technical requirements into scalable solutions that align with organizational goals.
Before joining AECOM, Jodie honed her skills as a Senior Technology Systems Designer at BR+A Consulting Engineers, where she collaborated with executive teams and stakeholders to design and implement ICT systems tailored to client needs. Her professional journey also includes roles as a Communications Project Manager at Birkel Electric and as an IT instructor, reflecting her commitment to both practical application and knowledge-sharing in the field. Across all positions, Jodie has been recognized for her technical mastery, strategic thinking, and ability to guide teams toward successful outcomes.
Beyond her technical expertise, Jodie is deeply invested in mentoring and advancing the ICT community. She actively participates in BICSI initiatives, supporting mentorship programs and contributing to industry development. With a Master’s in Information Systems Management and a Bachelor’s in Information System Security, Jodie combines academic rigor with hands-on experience, making her a trusted advisor and leader in ICT design and consulting. Her collaborative approach and focus on operational excellence continue to make a meaningful impact on every project she undertakes.

What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values most important to me in both my work and personal life are family, patience, and active listening. I cherish my 19-year marriage, raising two children, caring for our six dogs and two cats, and spending time outdoors on our 12-acre property tending to my flower and vegetable gardens, where my green thumb keeps me grounded and fulfilled.
