Her Interview
Ten minutes with Jodie
01What do you attribute your success to?
TWO QUOTES: If you treat an individual as if he were what he ought to be and could be, he will become what he ought to be and could be.
People start to heal the moment they feel heard.
02What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
When any opportunity presented itself, don't dismiss it. Something my eight-year old said in 3rd grade when his teacher put a fill in the blank statement on the blackboard. Somehwhere out there is____. He said: "Somewhere out there is someone calling my name." It became my anthem so that I am reminded to not miss out on any divine approintments or relationships.
03What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
You have to see people as what they could be and what they ought to be. If they have a message, step in as the holy scribe. Do not judge people. Be extremely sensitive to hidden potential. We can't die with the music inside of us.
04What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Huge, unexpected financial, back-to-back setbacks.
05What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Helping people develop and celebrate their hidden potential.
