Jody Bloyer is an accomplished educational leader and the Deputy Superintendent of the Racine Unified School District in Wisconsin. With a strong foundation in both teaching and administration, Jody has served in a variety of roles across elementary and secondary education, including alternative education, Dean of Students, and athletic coaching. She has led transformative initiatives in school leadership, including district-wide trainings on Cultural Competency and classroom management as an adjunct professor in the Education Certification program. Her administrative experience spans assistant principal and principal roles, where she guided an urban technology and trade high school, and later spearheaded the transformation of a large comprehensive high school into a Career Academy model.

In her current capacity, Jody leads Racine Unified’s ongoing secondary school transformation through the district’s partnership with Ford Next Generation Learning (Ford NGL), local businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations. Her work focuses on creating meaningful pathways for students that connect education with real-world experiences and workforce development. A certified administrative PDP reviewer and National Institute for School Leadership graduate, Jody is known for her collaborative approach, strategic vision, and deep commitment to educational equity and community engagement.

Beyond her district leadership, Jody is the Founder of the E.D.G.E. Task Force (established in 2019), a community-driven initiative dedicated to supporting youth through gang and drug diversion efforts. Under her leadership, the program introduced the innovative Community Connector position to strengthen ties between schools, families, and the broader community. As the owner of InteGRITy Leadership and Coaching, LLC, Jody also provides leadership mentoring, communication coaching, and team development services, reflecting her lifelong passion for helping others grow personally and professionally. Her career embodies her belief in integrity, compassion, and the power of education to transform lives.

What do you attribute your success to?

I attribute my success to my strong passion for connecting with people and the balance I maintain through my personal interests. My love for family, sports, and the arts keeps me grounded, motivated, and inspired to bring creativity, teamwork, and empathy into everything I do.

What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?

The best career advice I’ve ever received is to have a genuine passion for what you do and to never stop learning. Continuous growth and education not only strengthen your skills but also keep you inspired and adaptable in an ever-evolving field.

What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?

My advice to young women entering this industry is to focus on helping as many people as you can. Take the time to truly listen to their needs, offer guidance, and share your knowledge. Empowering others through education and empathy not only strengthens your professional impact but also builds a meaningful and fulfilling career.

What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?

Currently, the biggest challenges and opportunities in my field revolve around adapting to rapid changes while continuing to meet the evolving needs of the people we serve. Innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to ongoing learning present incredible opportunities to make a lasting impact and drive meaningful progress.

The values most important to me, both in my work and personal life, are kindness, compassion, and service. I believe in treating people with respect, helping those in need, and striving each day to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
