What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve ever received is to be yourself, always be honest, and surround yourself with people who are smarter than you. This guidance has helped me grow, stay authentic, and continuously learn from those around me.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
My advice to young women entering this industry is to keep your head up and stay resilient. Always fight the good fight, advocate for yourself, and trust in your abilities—you have the strength to succeed.
What are the biggest challenges or opportunities in your field right now?
Some of the biggest challenges in my field right now include the ongoing impacts of COVID, supply shortages, funding constraints, and working in a male-dominated environment. At the same time, there is no shortage of opportunity—there are so many ways to grow, advance, and make a meaningful impact in this industry.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
The values that are most important to me in both my work and personal life are honesty, loyalty, and family. I strive to uphold these principles in everything I do, as they guide my decisions and relationships.
