What do you attribute your success to?
I attribute my success to my natural curiosity and commitment to understanding how systems, processes, and teams operate—and how they can be improved. I find fulfillment in digging deep, identifying root problems, and implementing thoughtful solutions that have a lasting impact. Over the years, I’ve learned that real success often comes from quiet, deliberate work: building trust, creating resilient systems, and thriving under pressure. I value simplicity, calm in the face of complexity, and the balance between strategy and execution. My work is guided by intention and a dedication to doing things right, even if it takes a little longer.
What’s the best career advice you’ve ever received?
The best career advice I’ve received came from my sister, Georgette Legister. She has inspired me through her ability to grow into a VP role while raising three children, demonstrating that it is possible to balance personal and professional responsibilities successfully. Her example has motivated me to dream bigger and pursue my career goals with confidence and determination.
What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
I would advise young women to keep pushing themselves and persevering in the face of challenges. The job market can be competitive, but staying persistent and dreaming big opens doors to opportunities you may not anticipate.
What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
Integrity is the core value that guides both my personal and professional life. I am most proud of advancing to a senior-level position within a year, which allows me to provide meaningful support to my team while also dedicating time to my children. My faith, family, and commitment to doing the right thing inform every decision I make, helping me maintain balance and purpose in all aspects of my life.
