Her Interview
Ten minutes with Johanna
01What do you attribute your success to?
I don't know if I would say I'm successful, I think I'm just dedicated, and I think that tenacious, ambitious, maybe, the work ethic that's been imbued in me by my mother coming here, and just making sure that she's given me every opportunity that she can, and so I've taken it to the best of my ability, to as far as I can go, and as a parent, my goal is to take it as far as I can go so that they - it's like a relay, right? I go as far as I can to pass it on to the next generation, and that's how I see success in some shape, way, or form. Generational wealth translates differently to anybody. And for me, it's information, success.
02What values are most important to you in your work and personal life?
A good healthy work-life balance, I think, honoring people's need, whatever that may look like, you know, being present whenever it is that I'm doing, so if I'm in Mama, then I fully immersed in that. If I'm at work, I'm fully immersed in that. Depending on the job that I'm at at any given day. I like to give people the attention that they deserve.
