About Joslyn
Joslyn Coleman brings 15 years of professional experience as an insurance agent and hairstylist, with a strong focus on community outreach and service. Originally from Chicago, she began her journey in hairstyling after getting licensed in California and later expanded into insurance to help families prepare for the future. Coleman earned her bachelor's degree through an online program from a school in London and is currently pursuing a master's degree in business and applied leadership. She maintains ties to her volunteer roots through the Everyone in LA nonprofit, where she feeds the homeless once a week on Sundays, and continues similar efforts once a month in downtown Texas, serving about 25 people. Her daily routine includes client meetings for both styling and insurance enrollments, alongside personal development through journaling, reading on financial literacy, and walking. Coleman emphasizes discipline, health, and resilience in her approach to balancing her multifaceted career and future goals in real estate.

01What advice would you give to young women entering your industry?
Your feelings don't care about facts. You may not always feel like something. That's why we don't need motivation, we need discipline. Put your health first, make sure your mental health is good, you're taking time for yourself, and that it's a marathon, not a sprint.
